Adelaide Restaurants - Maxwell's Good Food Guide

The Grand Quest for good food in Adelaide continues...............each week.
In the past 15 or so years years I have had the pleasure to dine at many of Adelaide's 500 or so restaurants and cafe's.
All the restaurant and cafe's reviews reflect my own personal experiences at the time of my visit. These notes are a simple guide to dining out at some of Adelaide's restaurants and cafe's.

Adelaide CBD - Gouger Street
This is a very popular dining precinct of Adelaide.
Gouger Street runs east from Victoria Square to West Terrace with one of the entrances to the Adelaide Central Market located at the eastern end.
Is easy walking distance to the restaurants from Victoria Square and the The Hilton Hotel.

Adelaide - North Adelaide.
This is a particular favourite area of mine, as there are 10 busy hotels in this very cosmopolitan zone of Adelaide, and it is an easy short walk between many of the hotels and restaurants.

When Adelaidiens finish work for the day, you will find many of them relaxing and dining out, somewhere in North Adelaide.
The north east section is spread along Melbourne street, with the well known Lion Hotel dominating the corner of Melbourne & Jerningham streets.
The north south section of the restaurant section of North Adelaide is spread a kilometre along O'Connell street which is about 5 minutes by vehicle from Adelaide's CBD.
